Thanks for checking this page out. My name is Emma. The idea for SaddleBuddy™ came from frustration - like many ideas do! I had my horse at livery - with lovely facilities including two wall mounted saddle racks for my use. I knew I should always have something between the rack and the saddle panels to avoid denting the panels and creating pressure points in the flock.
Over the years I used pipe lagging (nightmare to get it to bend round and stay on), a spare half pad (would fall off every time I pulled my saddle off and end up on the floor or keep the pad my horse was wearing on the saddle when it went on the rack - but that meant it wouldn't dry well and I HATE sweaty saddle pads!
When my horse was away for schooling due to some family challenges the saddle was put straight on a rack, with a second one on top and the panels got horribly dented. That was it! I decided to design a solution and the idea for SaddleBuddy™ was born.
SaddleBuddy™ is made in the UK because I did not want to compromise on quality and if I was going to set up in business I wanted to support British business.
